GolfCartHelp

For repair businesses

Reach golf cart owners who already know what they need.

GolfCartHelp is a directory and service-request router for golf cart and LSV repair. We do not perform repairs, we do not employ mechanics, and we do not take a share of what you charge.

Sign-up is not open yet

The database, permissions, and billing boundaries are in place, but account creation, listing claims, and checkout are the next milestone. No payment is being taken and no card details are being collected. The pricing below is the proposed list price, not a live charge.

Who this is for

Built around how cart repair actually works

Whether you work out of a van, a shop, or both, the profile describes what you really do.

  • Mobile mechanics

Publish the ZIP codes you travel to without publishing a home address.

  • Repair shops

List your location, hours, and the brands and powertrains you work on.

  • Dealers & service centres

Show manufacturer training and credentials once they have been substantiated.

  • Fleet service providers

Be findable by campgrounds, resorts, courses, and communities looking for contracts.

How it works

Profiles, service areas, and service requests

  1. Your profile describes the business, not one person

Multiple people can be attached to a listing with different roles. Staff change; the listing does not have to be rebuilt when they do.

  2. Listings can exist before they are claimed

A directory entry may be added before anyone from the business has an account, and it is labelled as unclaimed until then. Claiming requires proving a connection to the business.

  3. Service areas decide what you are matched to

You list the ZIP codes you will actually travel to. The Free plan covers one primary area; Pro covers multiple areas and locations.

  4. Requests arrive already described

An owner tells us the cart's make, powertrain, symptom, ZIP code, and urgency before a request reaches anyone. You see what the job is before you decide to respond.

Verification is earned, not purchased. A paid subscription changes what a business can do on GolfCartHelp. It does not add a verification badge. Verification is a separate review of business identity and insurance evidence, and it is being built before any badge is displayed.

Honest status

What works today, and what doesn't

Read from this deployment's environment at request time. 'Configured' means credentials are present — it does not assert that a request to the service has ever succeeded.

  • Supabase (database, auth, storage) configured

Credentials present. Connectivity is not asserted here — it is proven only by a successful query.

  • Stripe Billing (provider subscriptions) not connected

    Not configured. Missing: STRIPE_SECRET_KEY, STRIPE_WEBHOOK_SECRET, STRIPE_PRICE_PRO_MONTHLY, STRIPE_PRICE_PRO_ANNUAL.

  • Email lead notifications not connected

Not implemented in this milestone. No provider is integrated.

  • SMS lead dispatch not connected

Not implemented. Requires a provider, written consent language, consent timestamps, rate limits, STOP/HELP opt-out handling, and delivery tracking before it can be enabled.

  • Affiliate feeds (Awin, Impact) not connected

Adapter interfaces exist but no network relationship, publisher ID, or product feed is connected.

FAQs

Questions providers ask

Does paying get me a verified badge?

No, and it never will. Verification is a separate review of business identity and insurance evidence. Subscription state and verification state are different database fields, and three independent mechanisms stop a business setting its own verification. If a badge could be bought, it would mean nothing.

Does paying move me up the organic results?

No. Pro subscribers are eligible for a featured position, which appears in its own visibly labelled Sponsored group. The organic ranking beneath it is computed without reference to subscription state.

Can I remove a bad review?

No. You can publish one response to a review. Rating, title, and body are locked to the customer by database permissions, and there is no deletion path for a business. Reviews are not open yet in any case — nothing has been seeded.

What does a service request contain?

The customer's contact details, their consent to be contacted, the cart's make, model, year, and powertrain, the issue category and description, their ZIP code and location type, and how urgent it is. You may use it to quote the work described and nothing else.

Do you take a cut of the repair?

No. Price, scheduling, and the work are agreed directly between you and the customer. GolfCartHelp charges providers for access to the platform, not a commission on jobs.

Will I get text messages about new requests?

Not today. SMS is not implemented and will not be switched on until there is a provider integration with written consent language, stored consent, rate limits, STOP and HELP handling, and delivery tracking behind it.

How do I get my listing removed?

Contact us from an address connected to the business and we will remove it. A business is never obliged to be listed.

Ready when sign-up opens.

The provider portal shows exactly what is connected in this environment. When account creation and listing claims go live, they start there.

No account can be created yet. The portal reports current availability rather than collecting credentials it cannot use.
